Golf Outing & Clinic

Mid-Day Women’s Alliance Annual Golf Outing & Clinic

Every year the Mid-Day Women’s Alliance hosts a Golf Outing and Clinic to raise money to help an organization within our community. For 2014, Mid-Day Women’s Alliance has selected Casa Care, a Division of the Mooring Programs, to receive the proceeds. Casa Clare provides residential alcohol and drug addiction treatment services for women in the Fox Valley area. The proceeds from the golf outing will be used for their “Art in Recovery” sessions that uses art therapy to help women face their addictions and learn effective coping strategies.

Registration is open for the 2014 Benefit Golf Outing and Clinic Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Westridge Golf Club!

This will be a fun filled day of activities and events for all. There are several ways you can help us with our event.

1. Come out and golf nine holes.
2. Participate in our Golf Clinic if you are a new or non-golfer.
3. Sponsorship: There are several sponsor options available —cart, hole, beverage, clinic, putting green, donate door prizes and items for golfer goodie bags.
4. Networking Reception, join us after golf and the clinic for networking and a chance to win some great prizes!

All sponsorship opportunities will help build exposure for you and your business. Please consider being a sponsor for this year’s golf outing. Recognition of sponsors will be reflected at the golf outing, on our website, and in the event program and posters. You will also receive a thank you letter after the event advising you on the success of the golf outing.

The majority of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Casa Clare whose core values are to treat women with respect, dignity and intelligence; to provide the treatment needed to help them recover their own dignity and sense of self. In 2013, Casa Clare helped 131 women, average age 33, to get on the road to recovery, and 37 women were part of Casa Clare’s apartment program. You will learn much more about Mooring Programs and Casa Clare on their website. Check out this page: United in Recovery to learn about the annual joint fundraiser for Mooring Programs and Step Industries. This year the event will be on October 3, 2014. Mark your calendars now! Tim Hockenberry from America’s Got Talent is returning to for some powerful entertainment!

The mission of our local Mid-Day Women’s Alliance is to educate and inspire action on issues affecting women’s lives and workplaces, raise monies to help organizations focused on women’s issues forward their causes and heighten awareness throughout the community, and create a safe place where relationships are formed and collectively we stand up for the advancement of all women.

We would also like to extend an invitation to you and others from your organization to join us at the golf outing and clinic. It is a terrific day of fun and networking and good golfing.

Thank you for your support and generosity.

Past golf outing recipients include: Friendship Place, Youth-Go, Inc., LEAVEN’s Female Veterans Emergency Fund, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fox Valley Region, Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha, REACH Counseling, Mission: Home, and The Center for Suicide Awareness.

A portion of each year’s proceeds are added to the Mid-Day Women’s Alliance Scholarship Fund.
